Truck Insurance Quote Comparison Worksheet
Put three quotes on the same page. Compare the full annual premium, extra fees, cash due at binding, coverage limits, deductibles and the policy questions that still need answers.
The lowest price is not automatically the best policy. Enter your own target limits below: this tool never assigns a federal minimum based on incomplete operating details.

Issues to resolve before binding
The table never determines whether a quote is legally sufficient, whether a future loss will be covered, or which contract you should buy. A review checkbox records your action; it does not verify the carrier's filings or insurer's promises.

What the totals do—and do not—mean
Annual estimated cost = quoted annual premium + additional annual fees. Upfront cash = premium portion due now + fee portion due now. Upfront premium and upfront fees are already part of the annual totals, so they are not added again.
The maximum of the entered physical damage and cargo deductibles is used only as a single hypothetical deductible exposure for cash planning, not as an expected claim cost. A claim can be excluded, limited or governed by a special deductible. This worksheet does not calculate claims, insurance adequacy or legal compliance.
FMCSA financial-responsibility requirements vary by carrier, vehicle, operations and cargo. Some broker contracts require insurance beyond federal filing obligations. Review the FMCSA filing requirements and the NAIC guide to policy declarations, coverage and exclusions. Verify the current terms directly with a licensed commercial insurance professional.
